Port of Brisbane

The Port of Brisbane is a significant shipping port located on the east coast of Queensland, Australia. It is one of the fastest growing container ports in Australia and the largest multi-cargo port in Queensland. The port handled approximately 1,530,000 TEUs of containers and 32 million tonnes of trade in the fiscal year 2021/22. It has five port precincts and receives roughly 2,155 vessel calls each year.

A key feature of the Port of Brisbane is the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal at Pinkenba, the first of its kind in Southeast Queensland, capable of accommodating mega cruise ships longer than 270 meters. This facility is prepared to welcome the world's largest cruise lines and ocean-going liners.

Situated at the mouth of the Brisbane River, the Port of Brisbane is managed and developed by the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL). As a cornerstone of the Queensland economy, the port plays a vital role in the state's growth and development.
